Through writing, we discover who we are, what we think, and who we want to be.
We use writing to create stories of all kinds, and it’s those stories that connect us: to ourselves, to each other, and to the world.
Stories have the power to inform, educate, entertain and affect change.
And today, perhaps more than ever before, our stories need to be heard.
Write Loudly! Workshops was created to give every person who wants to write the knowledge, strategies, experience, inspiration and self-confidence needed to put pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard.
Appropriate for both emerging and more established writers, our live webinars and self-paced classes are designed and taught by professionals who know as much about the business and practice of writing as its theories. Our courses are for those who want to:
- Harness the power of narrative storytelling for personal or political transformation
- Promote their cause, organization or business
- Explore different styles or genres of writing
- Better understand their thoughts and feelings
- Try out or stretch their writing abilities
- Revive a long-dormant writing project
- Experience the excitement of writing “THE END”
- Receive writing feedback from a seasoned professional
- Explore the creative process and their own creativity
- Become more effective at marketing or public relations
- See their name in print
- Publish or in any other way bring their stories to life
- Become more empowered
Write Loudy! Workshops was founded in 2016 by Cindy Wolfe Boynton, who has spent the last 20+ years helping people of all ages find, and best use, their writing voices.
An award-winning writer and editor, Cindy’s background includes more than 15 years as a regular correspondent for The New York Times and nine years as editor of Better Health magazine. She is a frequent speaker on how writing and reading can empower and enrich our lives, as well as the author of two books published in 2014 by The History Press, "Remarkable Women of Hartford" and "Connecticut's Witch Trials: The First Panic in the New World."
Also a playwright, Cindy’s one-woman plays "Right Time to Say I Love You" and "Dear Prudence" both made their premieres just steps off Broadway at New York City's United Solo Theatre Festival, with Right Time continuing on for performances that took her to Brighton, England, and one of the largest theater festivals in the world.
A 2014 Wesleyan Writers Conference fellow, she also teaches at the Yale School of Medicine, Housatonic Community College, Paier School of Art, University of New Haven and The Graduate Institute.
Cindy established Write Loudly! Workshops because she believes stories have the power to change the world. For that to happen, yours need to be heard.
